THE POLAR EXPRESS Screens at THT, 12/8

A young boy wants to believe in Santa even though his friends have "grown out of it." His faith is rewarded when a magnificent steam train pulls into his yard and carries him to the North Pole.
The Polar Express, first released in 2004, has become a favorite of young people of all ages. The cutting-edge "motion capture process" used to film the story converts the work of live actors – including Tom Hanks, Michael Jeter and Peter Scolari – into dazzling animation. The film is a visual feast, unlike any other holiday family movie.

Middlebury's Town Hall Theater will show the film on Saturday, December 8, at 2 pm. The running time is 99 minutes.
